Responsibility Allowance is pensionable only where a schoolteacher receives the allowance on the day incontinently before withdrawal.

Special School Allowance

TSC reimburses a schoolteacher travelling charges where the schoolteacher is –
On first appointment posted or engaged to take up a new appointment in a County other than his home sub county;
Posted to a place designated and gazzetted as thirsty andsemi-arid lands handed that he doesn’t hail from the area and shall only be entitled to this allowance three times every fiscal time;
On termination of appointment initiated by the Commission, where the academy and his home area aren’t in the same County;

Subsistence Allowance
TSC pays Subsistence Allowance to a schoolteacher, who attends a course, forum, factory or any sanctioned assignment outside the Country.
The allowance is only outstanding to preceptors authorised by the Commission to attend the forum, factory or course.
The rates of subsistence allowance outstanding to a schoolteacher shall be shall be –
Quarter per diem where a schoolteacher’s course is completely patronized; and
Full per diem where a schoolteacher’s course isn’t patronized.
