Preceptors Service Commission( TSC) has asked the headliners of the seminaries to explain why their institutions have done so inadequately over the once three times.

One of the letters addressed to a academy in Kuresoi, Nakuru County, stated, “ You’re asked to demonstrate cause why correctional action shouldn’t be taken against you for poor performance in the last three times. ”

After the release of the 2021 KCSE examination results, TSC instructed its Regional Directors to collect and submit statistics on the performance of the seminaries in the National Examinations for the former three times in their separate regions.

The Performances from both primary and secondary seminaries were included in the data.
The Commission had asked the field services to give the data about two weeks following the publication of the 2021 KCSE results, according to a memo dated March 11, 2022 and inked by the interim Staffing Director Antonina Lentoijoni.
The memo sparked alarm among academy directors in failing institutions.
