Police in Lang’ata, Nairobi are probing circumstances girding the death of a 21- time-old womanish pupil of Strathmore University.
Lang’ataSub-County Police Commander Benjamin Mwanthi told The Standard that the pupil’s body was set up in her hotel room at Madaraka estate on Sunday, June 5.
“ Her body was set up in her wardrobe and she had a scarf tied around her neck. The position of her body suggested she failed by self-murder. still, we ca n’t make any conclusions until posthumous is conducted, ” said Mwanthi.
Police have linked the departed as Nicole Chemutai Serem, a Second Year pupil of Strathmore University.
“ We didn’t find any self-murder note on her, ” said Lang’ata police master Mwanthi.
With a establishment grip on the stick, Strathmore maintain top spot.
Serem had been reported missing by her council mates on Friday, June 3.
On Sunday, police officers and the caretaker of the hotel that Serem had rented broke into her room and set up her dead.
“ Her body had no physical injuries, ” said Mwanthi.
Serem’s body was taken to City Mortuary pending necropsy.
