A man is being held by police in Kakamega County after he allegedly hit his brother to death over a serving of fingerlings, popularly known as Omena.
The incident saw the suspect descend on his 56- time-old family in Kambi Elijah vill in Likuyani Constituency.

The siblings, Albert Adamba and John Kilibwa, were participating a mess at their mama ’s house before they dissented over a portion of the delicacy.
Their elder family Vincent Misango added that a war of words replaced bending the two against each other. Adamba overpowered Kilibwa, flooring him in the battle to fix their inextinguishable hunger.
“ It’s a sad state of affairs, given that they fought at their mama ’s house at their age. We now have a mountain out of a small matter, ” Jimmy Ngwayumba, a vill elder, said.

Kilibwa sustained injuries during the fight and was rushed to Turbo Hospital where he was pronounced dead on appearance at.
Area Assistant Chief Moses Wanjala said the suspect is being held at Likuyani Police Station pending his censure.
