The Public Service Commission( PSC) has asked aspirants for the position of star clerk to apply by September 20.
The PSC is needed by Composition 155( 3)( a) of the Constitution to recommend campaigners to the President for nomination and appointment as star registers.
The current star registers will also need to apply, PSC president Anthony Muchiri said in a statement released on Tuesday.
The statement reads, “ Women, nonages, the marginalized, and those living with disability are prompted to apply.”
The Kenya Revenue Authority( KRA), Higher Education Loans Board( HELB), and Ethics andAnti-Corruption Commission are anticipated to grant the aspirants concurrence.
They should also be cleared by the Directorate of Criminal Investigation( DCI)( Certificate of Good Conduct) and have a concurrence from Credit Reference Bureau.
The good aspirants must have a degree from a Kenyan institution and at least ten times of applicable professional experience, five of which must have been in a operation or leadership position in the public or private sector.
Similarly, they must cleave to the norms of integrity and leadership outlined in Chapter Six of the Constitution.
According to PSC, they should have a introductory understanding of the structure and operations of government.
The National Identity Card or Passport, clones of applicable academic and professional instruments and reiterations, witnesses, and any other applicable supporting attestation are needed to be submitted with every operation, according to the Commission.
