All schools reopened for the second term on 11th July 2022 2022 as this term is expected to have final closing dates on 16th September 2022.
This is a 10 weeks term . This second term, there will be an Half term break of 7days expected from 5th August 2022 to 13th August 2022.
As per to the ministry of education, the initial Halfterm dates for term two was officially scheduled From 11th to 14th August 2022.

The Holiday for second term:is from 17th September 2022 to 25th September 2022 (7 days).
Then for Term 3: The Opening Dates are (26th September 2022) as the closing dates (25th November 2022)
There shall be Holiday for third term: from 26th November 2022 to 22nd January 2023 (7 weeks)

Schools shall have a break of 7 weeks in November and December 2022 to allow candidates do their national national exams.
2022 KCSE examinations begins on 25th November 2022 and ends on 23rd December 2022.
