Education Cabinet Secretary Prof George Magoha has blazoned that all seminaries will be closed on August 6 to prepare for the forthcoming General Election on Tuesday, August 9.
Speaking at the Alliance Girls on Sunday after examining the ongoing construction of CBC classrooms at the institution, Cs Magoha stated that the seminaries willre-open as soon as the election results are blazoned.
“ We’re breaking again on the 6th of the month and we won’t open again untill the 15th, ” CS Magoha said.

At the same time, CS Magoha stated that if there are repeat choices during his term, consultations will be held to determine whether scholars will sit for their examinations.
“ We may have to sit down as stakeholders and see whether it’ll be fair to examine the children if they will have lost a considerable quantum of time, I supplicate that that doesn’t be, these children have suffered enough, ” Magoha said.

The Education CS also banned all events held on academy grounds by politicians claiming to be launching systems in order to invite choosers.
“ We don’t want politics in seminaries because the scholars have a veritably short term and it’s only fair that they’re left alone, ” Magoha added.
The original quiz dates for term two were set to take place from August 11 to August 14 in 2022, according to the Ministry of Education.
The vacation for this term is also listed to run from September 17 through September 25, which is exactly seven days before the launch of the third term.
