Mosoriot Academy in Bomet County has been closed down indefinitely, just a day cases of sodomy by a schoolteacher were reported.
The academy was closed down by county Education Ministry officers early Tuesday, with several prints showing parents and preceptors exiting the academy.

Meanwhile, a manly schoolteacher is being held in Bomet County after he allegedly sodomized three pupils progressed between 11 and 13.
The suspect was taken to Mogogosiek Police Station in Konoin and is set to be arraigned over the heinous acts at Mosoriot Academy.

Konoin police master Tom Achiya said the suspect, Bernard Kirui, was arrested after one of the victims complained of severe pain and was rushed to Litein Mission Hospital; where it was established that he’d been sodomized.
“ His arrest follows complaints from staff members at the academy. We conducted examinations, which led to the apprehension of the suspect, ” Achiya said.

Primary examinations show that the schoolteacher slept at the boys ’ dormitory despite having a room allocated to him by the academy.
“ We’re meaning closing down the academy to pave way for examinations amid complaints from parents and the original community, ” Koiwa Chief Emmy Ngetich told Citizen Digital.
The suspect is anticipated at Sotik Law Courts once police conclude their examinations.
