The process for applying includes :-
Google KUCCPS website and login to: https:/Kuccps.students.net
Inputting your index number, KCSE examination year, and birth certificate number to access available courses and programs.
You must then enter the business number and account number, which is:-
the KCSE examination year.
followed by 11 digit index number.
After entering the amount, your pay application fee through MPESA.
Once you pay and the application is complete, it is important to log out to keep your data safe.
After KUCCPS processes he application, it will provide a list of courses and universities you have been selected for, and you will have one month to apply for inter-institutional transfers.

KUCCPS student placement login inter- university transfer (IIT)
The KUCCPS system opens for the inter-institutional transfer (IIT) applications.
This process is for students placed in universities and colleges and would like to change their institutions.

Applications must be lodged online through the Student’s Portal (students.kuccps.net).
For a transfer to be completed, it must be endorsed by both the university/college where the applicant has been placed and the university/college where the applicant wishes to transfer to.
One must meet the applicable cut-off points and minimum requirements to apply.
While applying, a student can retain the same course but change institution or change both course and institution.
A processing fee of Ksh 1,000 will be charged and should be paid only after the system prompts you to pay.
Payments must be done using the KUCCPS Paybill Number 820201.

Both applicants and institutions should note that:
Both the receiving and releasing institutions will be given a maximum of one week/seven days to endorse the transfers due to time constraints.
On expiry of the 7 days at the receiving institution, the transfer application auto-reverts to the applicant to initiate a fresh application.
On expiry of the 7 days at the releasing institution, the transfer application auto-reverts to KUCCPS for administrative release.
When a transfer application has been reverted to the student, the student will not be allowed to resend a request to the same institution for the same programme.
The automated online transfer be restricted to the students placed in the current academic cycle.
Those from the other cycles will be handled on a case-by-case manual transfer.
The transfer code will expire after three days.
KUCCPS inter-university Transfer Reasons
For the inter-institution transfer request to be approved, the applicant must provide valid reasons as to why they want to transfer.
Other than providing reasons as to why they want to transfer, students must meet the minimum academic requirements of the course and university that they want to transfer to.
The University you want to transfer to should also have open spaces to be able to accommodate you.
For example, you cannot transfer to a University Course that has only 100 available spaces if all the 100 spaces are full.
