Didmus Barasa, a member of congress for Kimilili, is wanted by Bungoma County police for reportedly killing the assistant to Brian Khaemba, his opponent.
Khaemba, who was seeking to depose Barasa from the Kimilili MP seat on a Popular Action Party of Kenya( DAP- K) ticket, reportedly went to Chebukwabi polling station at around 6 pm to substantiation counting of the votes.
He still met the peremptory solon at the polling station, and hence decided to leave slightly a many twinkles after his appearance.

Khaemba headed towards his auto but, according to a police report seen by Citizen Digital, “ Didmus Barasa followed him in company of four men and ordered them not to allow him(Mr. Brian Khaemba) to leave ”
The aspiring MP’s motorist, one Joshua Nasokho, is still said to have defied Barasa’s order and burned the vehicle.
“ Didmus Barasa withdrew a dynamo and aimed at Mr Khaemba’s assistant videlicet Brian Olunga and shot him on the forepart where he profusely bled, ” read the police report.

“ He was rushed to KimililiSub-County Hospital where he succumbed while witnessing treatment. Scene visited by the police accompanied by Scenes of Crime Personnel from Bungoma County, where the scene was reused and proved.”
The body of the departed is still at the said sanitarium, pending transfer to the Delight Funeral Home.
