Kenyatta University’s administration has come under fire from President Uhuru Kenyatta for expostulating to the World Health Organization mecca that will be constructed on its property.
The WHO exigency mecca was erected without Kenyatta University’s concurrence, and the 200 acres where it would be located were preliminarily set away for other development systems, the university bemoaned.
President Uhuru Kenyatta roughly corrected individualities who opposed the mecca design during the commissioning of the WHO exigency mecca, claiming the land belonged to the people.
Kenyatta University claimed that their property had been raided, but President Kenyatta rejected their allegations, pointing out that they were simply the custodians of public property.
He went on to declare that his government has chosen an inclusive, whole- government strategy and that no government agency should operate alone.
The Head of State defended the WHO exigency mecca design, which was formerly housed inside KUTRRH but was latterly moved to Kenyatta University land, by claiming that it’s a element of transnational community cooperation.
Wainaina raised enterprises in a statement, claiming that the institution of advanced literacy had formerly planned to construct a business academy, a pupil rest center, and caravansaries .
The area was taken over through the gate of the touching Kenyatta University Teaching, Referral & Research Hospital, according to Prof. Wainaina, who described it as an irruption.
