NAIROBI, Kenya, Jun 1 – Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has dropped his presidential shot and is back in the Azimio Coalition after accepting the Chief Cabinet Secretary position offered by Raila Odinga.
Speaking during a press briefing on Thursday, Kalonzo stated that he arrived at the decision following expansive consultations with his party officials. He blazoned that he has remitted his presidential shot and is set to completely support Odinga’s juggernauts.
“ After very wide consultations, I with great modesty accept my nomination as principal minister in Azimio one kenya coalition, and will support my brother Raila Amollo Odinga on his presidential bid come 9th of August. ” he stated.
He also blazoned that he was heading to Mukuru Kwa Njenga where he’ll address a common rally with Raila, Karua among other top coalition leaders and members.
Kalonzo was adjoined by several wiper leaders, and KANU president Gideon Moi who’s said to be the bone who majorly commanded the violent accommodations that have seen Kalonzo return to Azimio.
The Wiper leader also complimented Narc Kenya leader Martha Karua for having been named as a handling mate for the Azimio One Kenya coalition, also committing his full support to their candidature as well as the coalition.
‘ I commit myself to the Azimio One Kenya crusade because our ideal is winning on a landslide, ” he stated.
Last month, Kalonzo blazoned that he will be fighting for the administration in the August 9 choices, after the party disassociated ties with the Azimio One Kenya coalition led by Raila Odinga citing deceit. His conduct came after Odinga picked Martha Karua as his handling mate, a niche he allowed was supposed to be his reserve.
Kalonzo rejoining Azimio One Kenya coalition is followed with several adjustments to the team, with various other aspirants stepping in and out for one another, from both ends coming together.
