The primary school games calendar and events for 2023 have been mandated by the Kenya Primary School Sports Association (KPSSA) chairman to be attended by junior secondary school pupils.
As a result, the field and track events added to the elementary school sports calendar will now be competed in by students in Grade 7.

The track and field events schedule for the year 2023 was provided by all Regional County and Sub County Secretaries of KPSSA.
The organization has provided a list of prerequisites for students taking part in the competitions this year.

Participants in these events must meet the following requirements:
~A properly completed introduction form with the Head Teacher’s signature and approval.
~Have the head teacher attest to a photocopy of your birth certificate.
~The Head Teacher was present for the entire photo shoot and gave his or her approval in the back. (No need for a group photo.
