Junet Releases The Controversial Secret Audio Of Ruto Hanging To Affront Uhuru. William Ruto Claims He nearly slighted Uhuru Following A Heated Argument After Their 2017 Win Was annulled.
Suna East member of congress honorable Junet Mohammed on Sunday, June 3, released the controversial secret audio that captured Deputy President William Ruto admitting that he nearly slighted President Uhuru Kenyatta over the Supreme Court ruling that annulled the 2017 presidential election.
The two former festival leader and adjunct to Jubilee coalition had a heated argument on the day their palm was capsized by the Supreme Court.
The DP said he nearly slighted the chairman after he blazoned he’d not contend in the rehearsal election while relating the events that occurred after a six- judge bench annulled their presidential palm and commanded a new election.
The Daily Nation reported that the DP admitted to nearly slighting Uhuru when he declared he’d given up but held back out of respect for him while speaking to Kikuyu elders at his Karen manse on Friday, July 1.
They went to a rally where the chairman made the iconic “ we shall readdress statements, ” he claimed, after prevailing Uhuru not to run. Kung ’ u Muigai, the kinsman of President Uhuru Kenyatta and patron of the National Council of Elders, served as the delegation’s leader.
The contents of the recording were first reported by the Nation – although the clip wasn’t yet made public. Still, the MP Junet Mohammed played the full clip during Azimio la Umoja- One Kenya Alliance presidential seeker Raila Amollo Odinga’s rally in Ndhiwa constituency, Homa Bay County.
He didn’t explain the source of the audio clip taken during a unrestricted- door meeting at the DP’s hearthstone in Karen, Nairobi – held on Friday, July 1. Attendees had been asked to leave their phones out of the room.
The recording, offered new perceptivity including Dp William Ruto laughing while speaking about what he set up the President doing on the material day.
“ I left my place then and went to State House, I don’t want to say what he was doing when I got there because we’re elders( laughs). He started mumbling about, saying that he no longer wants it and he wants to go to Ichaweri and that we should let him be.
“ I looked at him and told him that you! It’s just that I had respect for him else I would have slighted him hard. That we let go and leave? ” the DP stated.
