KNEC, Kenya National Examinations Council will conduct training for preceptors to prepare them to come assessors for Parchment in Primary schoolteacher Education( DPTE) and Parchment in Early Nonage schoolteacher Education( DECTE) programmes starting August 2022.
Having been established by the government of Kenya in 1980, the Kenya National Examinations Council( KNEC) has been in the van in managing of public examinations, training of observers and award instruments to successful campaigners. This Council is devoted in offering excellent services.

As preceptors Prepare For TPD Modules In December, PSC Has Launched A Training Program For All Civil retainers.
All the good preceptors wishing to go through the training will have to meet the following guidelines
- Be registered with the TSC( or employed) and not serving any correctional term
- Have tutoring experience of applicable subject exceeding three times having attained a degree in education or aPost-graduate Parchment in Education( PGDE)
- Be below 55 times of age and recommended by their head of institution

All the aspirants are anticipated to upload their details after creating an account on the Kenya National Examinations Council website https//examinersapp.knec.ac.ke on or before July 31, 2022.
This free domestic training will commence on August 14, 2022 to close on August 20, 2022 at venues to be communicated to successful aspirants.

At the same time preceptors who are formerly trained as KNEC observers are no exceptions as they must suffer the training if they wish to be DPTE/ DECTE assessors.
