CS George Magoha Has Given Reasons Why Grade 6 CBC Learners Will Continue To Attend Primary seminaries After Their KNEC Examinations In December 2022
Principally, the CBC class has it that whenever a pupil excels in the public test at the grade six position, he she is supposed to join lower secondary.
Following the directive headliners entered from the ministry of education beforehand this time, every academy managed to set an redundant classroom to accommodate the new lot of scholars for CBC.
It has now been proposed that the scholars will remain in abecedarian seminaries after completing the CBC program’s sixth grade.
According to Education Cabinet Secretary( CS)prof. George Magoha, the first group/ class of the faculty- Grounded Class( CBC) would remain in primary seminaries indeed after passing the public test that would qualify them for inferior secondary academy in 2023.
Parents ’ worries about whether private institutions were prepared to admit the first group of Grade Six graduates as lodgers in inferior secondary seminaries were palliated by Cs. Magoha in her reflections at Moi Educational Center.
According to Magoha, the competition should take place when scholars are wanting to enroll in elderly secondary seminaries in Grade 10. Parents should n’t be obliged to move their children between seminaries.
In order to delay the harsh competition that starts after time eight until time ten, according to Professor Magoha, parents of children presently attending private seminaries must enroll them in inferior secondary programs there.
Still according to Magoha, the simple addition of a time will affect in these learners being a little aged than usual when they start applying to elderly seminaries now.The Cs further questioned whether it was the intention of the CBC for scholars to enter secondary academy at a youthful age and for preceptors to be unrehearsed to handle this.
