Hundreds of county government casual workers who were laid off beforehand last week have indicted the county governor of Kiambu of subjugating them to cerebral and fiscal trauma.
The workers have called upon President William Ruto to intermediate and have them reinstated noting that their laying off is both inhuman and suspicious.
They claim that they were sacked without notice and without pay yet they had worked for several times at the county nominating the same as treason and insensitivity by their employers.
They spoke to the media while condoling with the family of the late Charity Wangari, a procurement officer who allegedly failed after developing depression soon after being sacked.

According to mama to the late, the departed started complaining of a severe headache soon after entering her job termination communication.
“ Her situation deteriorated and I rushed her to Nazareth sanitarium and latterly Thogoto in Kikuyu before she was appertained to the Kenyatta National Hospital. Croakers told me that her Blood Pressure( BP) had come hard to manage which led to her death, ” she said as she fought backtears.The late Charity, 38, will be buried on Tuesday. She left before 4 children.
Her associates criticized her death on the county government noting that if at all she had been given a notice, she’d have planned herself and hence would n’t have failed.

“ We’re overwhelmed with stress, we’re hurt, angry and depressed. We feel betrayed by the county government and some of us have internal health challenges, ” Francis Kamau noted.
In the once three weeks, close to 600 casual workers were transferred home in what inside sources intimate is one of the county’s austerity measures.
still, impeccable sources told People Daily Digital that the move is aimed at giving the new administration an occasion to employ its own people as a price for campaigning for it.

Utmost of the casuals have been there in consecutive governments. Some were employed by the first governor William Kabogo, others by Ferdinand Waititu and some by James Nyoro.
“ It’s distrustfully strange to learn that people are being employed indeed after hundreds were unceremoniously laid off. Interestingly, they weren’t given redundancy letters, ” a elderly county officer stated.
The maturity of those laid off were platoon leaders in the finance department similar as licensing officers, procurement, accounts, profit collectors and motorists.
