The security of Dr. William Ruto has been considerably beefed up since he was declared Kenya’s President- elect by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission( IEBC) on Monday, August 15.
In Nairobi, the Guard Company “ G ” arm of the GSU has been stationed at the sanctioned hearthstone of the Deputy President, a premise that Ruto has been enwrapping for close to 10 times and is yet to vacate. analogous labor force have also been stationed to his Sugoi home.

The security changes at Ruto’s hearthstone follow an incident in August 2021, when the elite GSU platoon was withdrawn from his hearthstone and replaced with Administration Police officers.
The Inspector General of Police Hillary Mutyambai said this was a “ normalre-assignment. ”
