Rigathi Gachagua, the deputy president elect, has given a total of 9 buses that will be utilized to carry people from Meru County to Kasarani Stadium for William Ruto’s inauguration scheduled for Tuesday, September 13th.
Gachagua announced today during an interdenominational church service at Maua Stadium in Meru County that he will assist Mithika Linturi, the recently-retired Meru Senator, in arranging transportation for local citizens to attend Ruto’s inauguration in Nairobi.

The Church delegate had requested assistance in order to attend the Tuesday function, he said.
“Sasa Mithika Linturi vile wameomba, sasa mimi nitakusaidia nikuongeze bus tisa, tukuwe na bus moja kila Constituency hawa washirika wakuje Nairobi waone rais akiapishwa,(In response to their request, Mithika Linturi, I will now assist you and add nine buses so that each Constituency can have one bus and these congregants can travel to Nairobi to see the president being sworn in),” Gachagua added.
According to Gachagua, the nine buses will be utilized to carry church representatives from Meru County’s nine constituencies to the event on Tuesday.
In addition, Gachagua criticized their erstwhile rivals for the 2022 election, alleging that one of them had vowed to shut down the churches if they won.

“Yule jamaa wa kupigana na makanisa alisema akichukua atafunga makanisa ndogo”He (the person who opposes the church) had threatened to shut down churches, he said.
