After receiving fresh information regarding Didmus Barasa’s escape route on Wednesday, August 10, the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) increased its manhunt for the legislator in the neighboring nation of Uganda.
The head of the Bungoma DCI told the media that police had been tipped off that Barasa had been seen boarding a boda boda, which he had used to enter Uganda.

Samuel Kimiti, the commissioner for Bungoma County, had earlier given the lawmaker 24 hours to surrender.
