Police in Isiolo have arrested a couple for subjugating their six- month-old son to lady genital mutilation( FGM) in Leparua, Isiolo North constituency.
The two have been seized hours after the baby was saved and rushed to Isiolo Referral Hospital and admitted.
The child’s father was formerly detained at the Isiolo Police Station while the mama was allowed to take care of the baby still below the watch of police officers, said IsioloSub-County Police Commander Collins Sainna.
